Pool area is fenced and can be locked
There is nothing better than relaxing by the pool with a crisp cool white wine, or playing with the children in the pool – or perhaps soaking up the warm rays of a Puglia summers days is more your style.
Whatever your choice the pool and sun terrace provides the perfect spot to enjoy the private pool and look out over the landscaped gardens.
There are 6 sun loungers and 2 sun umbrellas.The pool is 10 metres length and 5 metres wide with a consistent depth.
The pool can be heated in April, May and October, after May and before October this is not needs as the pool will be comfortably warm anyway.
The Trullo garden was landscaped in autumn 2009. Care was taken to ensure a heady mix of fragrant Mediterranean plants, an herb garden close to the house, for the use of all guests as well as a selection of fruit trees, again, intended for guests to pick when in season. There were already a number of olive trees in the garden which were saved and, in some cases, moved to a more suitable location. There is a fully automated watering system throughout the garden.
Oleander has been planted along all borders, in front of the dry stone wall to ensure colour throughout the summer, as well as some feature palms in the centre of the garden. A ‘cypress walk’ leading from the trullo through the garden completes the picture.
Obviously, through 2010 the garden will mature; the photos you will find below were taken in November 2009 and will be updated through the year.
