Your place in the sun!

Trullo Rondini has been carefully restored using the finest modern fittings combined with sensitive restoration of period features to give you a property that you can enjoy for the luxury, comfort and flexibility that it offers.
A trullo (the plural is trulli) is a traditional Apulian stone dwelling with a distinctive conical roof. The style of construction is specific to Itria Valley and the greatest concentration may be found in the towns of Alberobello, Locorotondo, Fasano, Cisternino, Martina Franca and Ceglie Messapica.

Traditionally they were built without any cement or mortar, the popular belief is that this was to avoid high taxation, as the dwellings could be easily collapsed when the tax man came round. Needless to say they are built with a little more stability in mind these days!

Below are some of the pictures of the property before and during development which was carried out in 2008/9.
